Hey, there!

I'm Andrea and I'm so glad you're here.

My Approach

At the core of my approach, I believe that life is shaped by patterns—thoughts, behaviors, and habits that we repeat, often without even realizing it. These recurring cycles influence how we view ourselves, how we relate to others, and ultimately, how we navigate the world. However, not all patterns serve us in a positive way. Some can sabotage our mental well-being and strain our relationships.

My intention is to help you recognize the recurring themes in your life that no longer support your growth or happiness, and work together to break free from them. By understanding the root causes behind these tendencies, we can start to make conscious decisions to replace them with healthier, more empowering behaviors and beliefs.

I believe that through this process of transformation, you can create the space to live in alignment with your true values, purpose, and potential. The work we do together will empower you to develop new ways of being that support a deeper sense of self-love, connection, and fulfillment—allowing you to live a life that feels authentic and meaningful.

Together, we’ll explore how your unique experiences have shaped your current mindset and behaviors, and develop personalized strategies to promote healing, growth, and lasting change.

Methods I Use

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a structured, goal-focused approach that helps individuals recognize and reframe negative thoughts and behaviors, fostering more effective coping skills and enhancing emotional well-being.

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) is a mindfulness-based therapeutic approach that helps individuals accept difficult thoughts and feelings rather than avoiding or fighting them. It emphasizes psychological flexibility by encouraging people to clarify their personal values and commit to actions that align with those values, even in the presence of emotional discomfort. ACT integrates acceptance strategies, cognitive defusion, and behavior change techniques to help individuals lead more meaningful and fulfilling lives, despite the challenges they may face.

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a structured therapy designed to help individuals process and heal from traumatic memories and distressing experiences. It uses guided eye movements or other forms of bilateral stimulation to reduce the emotional intensity of painful memories, allowing the brain to reprocess them in a healthier, more adaptive way.

My guiding principles

I believe that you already carry the wisdom and strength needed for healing and growth-therapy simply helps you reconnect with it. My role is not to give you the answers, but to support you in discovering your own voice, values, and capacity for change.

I view our work as a collaborative process where your insights, experiences, and goals are central to the journey. While I bring my training and perspective, you bring the wisdom of your lived experience. Collaboration means we work as a team-openly, respectfully, and with mutual trust. Your voice matters every step of the way, and our sessions are shaped by what feels most meaningful and relevant to you.

As a therapist, I hold growth as a central guiding principle-believing that every individual has the innate capacity to evolve, heal, and move toward greater self-awareness and fulfillment. Growth is not about perfection, but about progress: the willingness to explore one’s inner world, challenge limiting beliefs, and cultivate new ways of thinking, feeling, and relating.

Safety is the foundation of all meaningful therapeutic work. As a therapist, I prioritize creating an environment where you feel emotionally, psychologically, and physically secure-where you can show up as you are, without fear of judgment, pressure, or rejection. Safety means being seen and heard with compassion, having your boundaries respected, and knowing that your experiences will be held with care and confidentiality.
