Family Therapy
Strengthen bonds & heal together.
Family dynamics have never felt more challenging.
The more you and your loved ones try to understand each other, the more you seem to clash and say things you wish you could take back. You’re physically together, but emotionally distant. Some days, you go without speaking, and other times, you simply go through the motions just to get through the day.
Even in families where love is strong, communication can break down, and understanding each other can become harder. These moments of struggle can be confusing and emotionally taxing for everyone involved. Family therapy offers a path forward, helping you work together to improve communication, resolve conflicts, and build a healthier, stronger relationship.
You’re drained from the constant back-and-forth:
- The same disagreements, the same miscommunications, the same sense of being unheard or disconnected- it’s overwhelming.
- You’ve made the effort to fix things, to bridge the gap, but no matter how hard you try, the cycle feels unbreakable.
- At times, it seems like you’re walking on thin ice, carefully avoiding triggers or silently carrying the weight of unresolved tension. You want more—a healthier dynamic, stronger bonds, a sense of peace—but you’re unsure of where to begin or how to make it happen.

Family therapy can help you rebuild connections.
HOW I CAN HELP
My work with families is primarily rooted in Family Systems Therapy, an insightful and holistic approach to understanding family dynamics. Developed by Dr. Murray Bowen, this approach focuses on the emotional connections between family members and how those connections influence behavior, relationships, and overall family functioning.
In Family Systems Therapy, the focus is on helping you:
- Understand the patterns of behavior that shape family dynamics.
- Improve communication and foster healthier, more open conversations.
- Strengthen individual family members’ sense of identity while enhancing family unity.
- Resolve conflicts by addressing underlying emotional issues and system-wide patterns.
- Build deeper empathy, trust, and emotional support within the family structure.
- Foster a sense of shared responsibility and connection across generations.
IMAGINE IF YOU…
- Felt truly connected and understood by your loved ones.
- Could navigate tough conversations without conflict or tension.
- Rebuilt trust and healed from past wounds as a family.
- Made more time for meaningful moments together.
- Handled challenges as a united front, knowing you’re in it together.
- Felt confident in your family’s ability to grow stronger and closer.
HERE’S THE TRUTH:
Healing is within your reach.
Let’s bring harmony back into your home.
Common questions about family therapy
How do I know if my family needs therapy?
If your family is experiencing frequent conflicts, miscommunication, a lack of connection, or struggles adjusting to life changes, therapy can help you work through these issues in a safe, constructive way.
How long does family therapy take?
The duration of therapy can vary. It may take a few sessions to address immediate issues or several months for deeper, long-term work.
Can we use health insurance for family therapy?
At this time- I’m out of network with all insurance providers. However, I can provide a Superbill for a possible out-of-network reimbursement.
